“She was within a day of homelessness…”

Melissa was experiencing one of the hardest times of her life when her pastor suggested she contact Bridge of Hope. “She was within a day of homelessness… and that was the day Bridge of Hope stepped in,” says Pastor Greg.

Melissa’s story touches me deeply. I hear her pain when she reflects on the past year, “I was a nurse and there was a pandemic and I couldn’t do anything to help.” I am moved by her teenage daughter who has learned much about forgiveness and who says, of Bridge of Hope, “It’s not just about financial help, it’s about community.”
