Having a home means that every Saturday morning, my kids climb into bed with me for snuggle time. It reminds us all that we are safe now.

Because of you, more families know this feeling.

We’re celebrating the incredible success of the Making Room Initiative — a three-year strategic initiative which began with an ambitious $8.4 million goal and is now just $84,634 away from reaching our $9.3 million stretch goal by March 31. This is a historic moment for Bridge of Hope, and it’s possible because of your generosity.

Here’s a quick look at what you helped make happen:

More Homes & More Housing Solutions
You helped secure 8 affordable housing units, launch the Bridgeport Housing collaboration with Chestnut Housing (12–15 more homes coming!), and expand creative housing strategies — from increasing landlord partners by 45%, master-leasing, lease guarantees, stronger partnerships, and more rental assistance.

Stronger Mental Health & Family Support
Families gained access to tools like the Kids Matter Curriculum and expanded counseling resources, helping parents and children heal and grow stronger together.

Long Term Growth & Leadership
Alumnae are gathering in peer support groups and serving on boards. More Neighboring Volunteers than ever are walking alongside families with encouragement and care.

Reaching New Communities
Bridge of Hope expanded into five new locations — bringing hope to families in new communities in GA, OH, KY, VA, and PA.

Serving More Families
Because of you, the number of families served grew 10% across the network, 65% in Lancaster County, PA and 7% in Chester County, PA.

A Strong Future for This Mission
Legacy of Hope donors who included Bridge of Hope in their estate plans provided 6% of our campaign goal, helping grow our endowment and specifically helped purchase 4 units of housing.

As we celebrate the near completion of MAKING ROOM, I hear the words of scripture in a deeper way: “No matter what, make room in your heart to love…and show hospitality” (Hebrews 13:1-2).

You helped create those Saturday morning snuggles, and the deep sense of safety that comes with having a home. Thank you for making room!

23rd Annual Golf Classic
