Your nonprofit outreach can leverage the Bridge of Hope model to:

  • Multiply your Impact
  • Engage the Church
  • End family homelessness

As a Program Site, your nonprofit will license a proven model for engaging Christian faith communities in ending family homelessness through neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ’s love.

The Bridge of Hope model helps you provide seamless next steps for the families you serve.

  • Offer a program modeled after the Housing First philosophy; post-shelter or after transition.
  • Engage and Guide Christian faith communities in Neighboring support using our Strangers to Neighbors® training curriculum.
  • Access strengths-based, trauma-informed tools and resources focused on whole-family resiliency, financial stability and more to help families remain housed.

Bridge of Hope may be right for your organization if you can:

  • Designate a staff member with Bachelor of Social Work (or similar) to provide Bridge of Hope case management services.
  • Provide or procure temporary rental assistance over 6-12 months for each family served.
  • Connect with churches, small groups or Bible studies to recruit and train Neighboring Volunteers.

Bridge of Hope National provides:

  • All program resources and Bridge of Hope specific training and proven strategies.
  • Ongoing support from our master’s level social work staff and network peers for mutual learning.
  • Complete Strangers to Neighbors® curriculum, facilitator’s training and associated resources.
