Launching to Meet an Urgent Need

Families in Berks County are Facing Rising Housing Instability

Since 2020, median rents have increased 18%, while wages have lagged behind. During the 2022–23 school year, 2,028 children in Berks County were identified as experiencing homelessness—an 18% increase from the year before.

As a local affiliate of Bridge of Hope National, Bridge of Hope Berks partners with Christian faith communities to provide affordable housing and relational support to families in crisis—helping them move from homelessness to stability.

We are eager to join and strengthen the meaningful efforts already underway to end homelessness in Berks.
