A Prayer for Healing by Rev. Anne Rukakoski Roser

May the burdens of the night lessen with the dawn of the morning.

May the song of the birds inspire gratitude for the day.

For the light shines into the broken crevasses of this world, and cannot be extinguished.

For the Spirit breathes courage within you, the sacred gift of this day.

The deepest places of your heart will know this truth.

Let your tears water the seeds of justice you plant, and bring forth brilliant and beautiful blossoms.

Let this holy garden be nourished by love that is both tender and fierce.

And may all eat the fruits of this garden, for the healing of the world.
