Parthenia feels inspired to open doors for others
November 19, 2024
I invite you to click on the play button above and watch this special video about Parthenia, a Bridge of Hope alumna. Parthenia and her five children were facing homelessness after a water leak in their apartment made it uninhabitable, so she reached out to Bridge of Hope.
Through Bridge of Hope, she found new housing, met with a career counselor, became a certified CPR instructor, and experienced love and support from her group of Neighboring Volunteers.
Inspired by the support that she’s received in the past, Parthenia now feels comfortable reaching out and paying it forward. “I have been blessed and now I can open my door to help others,” Parthenia said.
In this season of giving thanks, I am so grateful that families, like Parthenia’s, are ending homelessness and finding hope and healing every day through Bridge of Hope. Thank YOU for your support!
