Announcing our new Chief Mission Officer

October 24, 2018

It is with absolute joy and delight that I present Andrea Popielski as our new Chief Mission Officer.  You will recognize her name from serving as Executive Director of Hannah’s House, a Bridge of Hope program site.

Andrea will begin this full-time role at Bridge of Hope on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018.

Andrea brings over 30 years of experience as a nonprofit leader, in the mental health field, maternity services and workforce education.  She is a strong collaborator, leader, and fundraiser. She has dedicated her life’s work to serving under-resourced individuals, primarily women and children.  Andrea has a Master of Science in Education, Counseling and Human Services from Indiana University South Bend.

Andrea has served as Executive Director of Hannah’s House since 2013 and in 2016 was part of Bridge of Hope’s Core 4 Innovation team. She has a strong faith and commitment to Bridge of Hope values of following Jesus, embracing the church and choosing hope.  Andrea says, “I am conscious on an almost continual basis of my reliance on prayer and listening for God’s voice in the midst of my day.”

Andrea is passionate about the work of Bridge of Hope in engaging Christian faith communities in ending family homelessness.  “I am an enthusiastic supporter of the Bridge of Hope model, which I believe incorporates all the elements necessary to end homelessness.  Now is the moment to spread the word more broadly and equip more communities to implement Bridge of Hope.”

Join me in welcoming Andrea to this new role in the Bridge of Hope network, for which she is well-positioned and brings the depth of experience to serve you well.

Blessings,

Edith Yoder
Executive Director
